My name is Alyssa Lucas, and I am the founder and CEO of SIPnRead. I served in the United States Navy for six years and worked in the medical field as a respiratory therapist. I have a loving husband and two beautiful children with whom I share a passion for reading. As a child, I eagerly anticipated the arrival of the book bus every summer in my community. Now, as an adult, I wanted to recreate that experience and share it with others in this community!

At SIPnREAD, I aspire to cultivate a cozy and welcoming environment where customers can relax with their favorite books while sipping on their favorite beverages. We aim to help customers escape the stresses of everyday life one page at a time by fostering a peaceful and relaxing space, whether that be at home or in person!
